This unisex piece was made using Kente from Ghana and is one in a collection of sustainably sourced progressive pieces, handmade in Ghana by Ghanaian artisans, specially for you.
Fabric History
Kente is a Ghanaian fabric, made of handwoven cloth strips of silk and cotton. Historically the fabric was worn by royalty among ethnic groups such as the Ashanti and Ewe. In modern-day Ghana, the wearing of Kente cloth has become widespread to commemorate special occasions.
