SHIPPING DELAYS

DHL handles all our international shipping. For products in store, average delay is 2 weeks; 10 days of processing order then 4 days to reach you.

For products on pre-order, we source the fabric directly with our suppliers before crafting your outfit. Average processing and shipping time is 12 weeks though this can vary. You are kept up to date at every step of the process.

DO YOU HAVE EXPRESS SHIPPING?

By default all shipments are shipped with DHL Express. If you have a deadline for an order please add it in your order note or reach out to us direclty.

DO YOU SHIP EVERYWHERE?

We currently ship to all countries. If any issue occurs when typing your address, please reach out to hello@threadedtribes.com

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING COST?

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order. We try to keep all below $30. You can see the estimated shipping cost during checkout before you confirm your order.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS?

Customs can apply depending on your location. We reach out individually to each customer if it occurs to settle before shipping.

USA customers: kindly note that the constant evolving situation can make it difficult to correctly clear custom ahead of time. If anything occurs during your delivery we will be in touch and always provide a clear solution.

RETURNS

Please note that if an order is returned because customs or import duties were not accepted or paid by the customer, we are unable to issue a refund, as each order requires time, labor, and resources to fulfill.

If your order is eligible for refund, we have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must:

- be in the same condition that you received it
- be unworn or unused
- have tags attached
- be in its original packaging
Include the receipt or proof of purchase

To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@threadedtribes.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

What size should I get?

Threaded Tribes sizes "regularly" meaning you can pick your usual size for tops and bottoms. If you are in between we recommend sizing down.

For cloaks, we offer 3 sizes: XS, fits all (S to 2XL) and 3XL.

What are the care instructions?

To make sure your Threaded Tribes outfit lasts for years, we recommend different care based on fabric used. Every outfit page has specific care instructions we recommend to check when ordering. Here are the specifics:

- baule: dry clean
- bogolan: dry clean
- fugu: wash on low temp
- kente: dry clean
- korhogo: dry clean

I received my product but it doesn’t fit

You can exchange an item for a different size or color, subject to availability. Check our return instructions above to initiate an exchange.

Are your products ethically made?

Yes, Threaded Tribes has environment conscious processes at its core. We focus on mimimum water usage, natural dyes, plastic and waste free craft. We partner with manufacturers who uphold fair labor practices and use sustainable materials whenever possible. You can learn more about our commitment to ethical production on our "About Us" page.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No you don't need an account to place an order on our website. However, creating an account offers several benefits, such as faster checkout, tracking your order history, and saving your shipping information for future purchases.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your delivery on the courier's website.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can change or cancel your order as long as it hasn't been shipped. Please write to hello@threadedtribes.com with your order reference for any change in your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and secure online payments through.
